The DEHNguard YPV SCI 1000 FM is a compact Type 2 surge arrester for DC sides of photovoltaic systems up to 1000 V DC. The integrated three-stage switching device ensures safe electrical isolation and increases operational reliability in PV strings. With remote signaling contact for status monitoring, the device supports continuous system supervision. The device is suitable for commercial and industrial PV installations where robust protection concepts against transient overvoltages are required.
