Description

The Fronius Verto 25.0 400 is a three-phase grid-tied PV inverter for commercial rooftop systems and smaller ground-mounted projects with increased design flexibility. With 25kVA AC rated power, three independently operating MPP trackers, and a maximum DC generator capacity of up to 37.5kWp, the device is suitable for complex string configurations with different module arrays. The permissible DC voltage range of up to 1,000V as well as high input current reserves per string allow the use of modern high-performance and high-current modules. IP66 protection rating, integrated AC and DC surge protection, and active cooling support reliable continuous operation in outdoor environments. Thanks to open communication interfaces, the inverter can be seamlessly integrated into energy management, monitoring, and load management systems.

 
  • TechnologieTechnologyThe Verto 25.0 400 is based on a transformerless three-phase topology with separate power paths per MPP tracker. Three MPP trackers enable electrical decoupling of differently oriented or partially shaded generator sections. The MPP voltage range from 150V to 870V covers long string lengths as well as short sub-generators. With a maximum efficiency of 98.6% and a European efficiency above 98%, the device operates efficiently even at partial load, which is particularly relevant for east-west installations or load profiles with fluctuating feed-in power. Integrated arc fault detection increases operational safety in commercial systems.

However, external loads, charging infrastructure, or thermal applications can be integrated into the energy management system via open interfaces. The high DC input power provides reserves for future expansion of the PV generator within the electrical design limits. Software updates enable functional adjustments over the entire lifecycle.
