Huawei SUN2000-10K-MAP0

The Huawei SUN2000-10K-MAP0 is a three-phase Smart Energy Controller for grid-connected and hybrid-capable PV systems in the 10kW power range. Two MPP trackers allow operation with different string orientations and reduce yield losses in partial shading conditions. The DC design up to 1.100V and a wide MPP voltage range of 160V to 1.000V provide planning flexibility with modern module types. On the AC side, the device delivers up to 11kVA and fully supports unbalanced loads. Integrated protection functions such as arc fault detection, type II surge protection capability, and connector temperature monitoring increase operational safety. In combination with Huawei LUNA battery systems and external backup hardware, both self-consumption optimization and three-phase backup power operation can be implemented. Passive cooling, IP66 protection rating, and an extended temperature range enable reliable indoor and outdoor use.

• TechnologyThe inverter operates with a maximum efficiency of 98,6% and a European efficiency rating of 98,1%, making it ideal for yield-optimized rooftop systems. Two independently operating MPP trackers with 16A input current each allow direct connection of modern high-current modules. A permissible PV generator power of up to 18kWp supports DC overdimensioning for improved annual yield utilization. On the AC side, a nominal output of 10kW is provided with a three-phase connection, including 110% continuous overload capability. The integrated AFCI function detects series arcs and reduces fire-related risks on the DC side.

• ConnectivitySeveral communication interfaces are available for monitoring and system integration. An RS485 interface is integrated as standard, supplemented by optional WLAN or Ethernet connectivity via pluggable Smart Dongles. Integration into Huawei FusionSolar monitoring enables tracking of yields, grid parameters, and battery currents, as well as remote commissioning and diagnostics. The communication architecture is designed for integration of additional system components such as smart power sensors, charging systems, or energy management functions, thereby supporting more complex self-consumption and storage concepts.

• ExpandabilityThe SUN2000-10K-MAP0 is battery-ready and compatible with Huawei LUNA2000 storage systems of the S0 and S1 series. In combination with external backup hardware, three-phase backup power operation with automatic switchover can be realized. Additionally, the device is prepared for the use of Huawei power optimizers, enabling module-level monitoring and yield optimization. This scalability allows a step-by-step expansion from pure PV systems to complex self-consumption and backup solutions.
