WallFix - Quick Calculator
The Quick Calculator computes the bill of materials for your facade project. It does not replace detailed planning in the PV Manager, but enables a quick price indication for all installation variants of the WallFix.
Whilst traditional rooftop PV systems have long been the norm, many building façades remain unused. Yet, particularly when the sun’s angle is low – that is, in the morning and evening hours or during the winter months – façade-mounted PV systems can actually generate higher yields than rooftop systems. This is precisely where our latest in-house mounting solution – the IBC WallFix – comes into its own. Designed for private homes, commercial premises and industrial buildings, the system enables the vertical installation of solar modules on almost any wall. It impresses not only technically but also in terms of aesthetics.
Whether concrete, brick or trapezoidal sheet metal – the IBC WallFix is designed for a wide variety of façade surfaces. The mounting components are designed to ensure a permanently reliable installation, with building authority approvals (abZ / aBG) currently in the final stages of certification.
By using different rail heights – depending on the module frame height – the system not only ensures cost-optimised use of materials but, above all, guarantees that the module sits securely and firmly in the rail.
Quick to install, high-quality construction
As with our tried-and-tested roof systems, the IBC WallFix is also designed with a focus on simple, quick installation. Just like with the IBC TopFix, the modules are inserted directly into profile rails without the need for additional clamps, which speeds up the installation process. Only high-quality materials such as aluminium and stainless steel are used, ensuring a long service life. Particularly in the case of prestigious buildings, the system blends harmoniously into the architecture and becomes a real eye-catcher.
Tested quality – Engineered in Germany
The IBC WallFix was developed and tested entirely in Germany. Simulations and load tests, including those carried out at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), confirm the system’s high stability and safety. To ensure maximum reliability, we offer a fifteen-year combined warranty. The IBC WallFix therefore stands not only for technological precision, but also for what the name IBC SOLAR represents: quality you can rely on.
