Enphase IQ Balcony Kit WiFi

The Enphase IQ Balcony Kit WiFi is a plug-and-play AC PV micro system for small applications that does not require a separate IQ Gateway or Q-Relay. The kit combines the IQ Balcony Gateway with WiFi connectivity and two IQ8HC microinverters. The system architecture is designed for easy installation via a Schuko socket and at the same time allows grid-parallel operation as well as limited off-grid use via an integrated auxiliary socket. Thanks to the microinverter topology, each module operates independently, which leads to more stable yields, particularly in cases of partial shading or unequal module tilt angles. The system is limited to a maximum of 800VA AC feed-in and can be expanded to up to seven IQ8HC units.

• TechnologyThe system is based on Enphase’s typical microinverter architecture using IQ8HC devices, in which DC/AC conversion takes place directly at the module level. Each IQ8HC processes up to 380VA of AC nominal power with a maximum efficiency of 97.5% and is designed for DC module voltages of up to 60V. The single-phase AC feed-in of the overall system is designed for 760VA nominal and normatively limited to 800W, ensuring compliance with the applicable regulations for plug-in PV systems.
